Going shopping with our kids is never an easy task anyway, but for Melody Leach, it came with its own set of special problems. It isn’t that her child was a terror and would misbehave. It was something entirely different.

Although most toddlers can fit into the seat of a shopping cart easily, Melody’s two-year-old Beatrice couldn’t. She was born with cerebral palsy. Despite her age, she can’t talk, crawl, or see very well.

Melody would often attempt to take Beatrice to King Soopers in Loveland, Colorado, but was unable to use the seat in the cart. This meant that she would have to push the cart and Beatrice in her wheelchair or carry her – not an easy task.

Little did this loving mom know, the employees had been watching her and were planning to help her. The store’s manager, Mike, made a call to see if they could get a car that was designed for kids with special needs.

That call was just the beginning though. Not only did they get a special cart for Beatrice, they did something else even more amazing! Check out the video below and be sure to share this heartwarming story with your family and friends.
