Clint Eastwood is known for being one of the best actors and directors of our time. That’s why his fans are excited after the trailer for his latest movie The Mule was released.

Eastwood, who stars in and directs the movie, is playing 90 year-old drug smuggler Earl Stone in the film, which is based on a true story. It’s based on the real story of Leo Sharp, who was arrested for trafficking drugs in 2011 at the age of 87.

The trailer begins with Earl opening the trunk of his car and finding a green duffel bag filled with bricks of white powder.

“Holy,” he says as a police officer walks up to his car. Earl manages to charm the officer, but he is not able to fool the drug-sniffing dog who barks loudly as it heads towards Earl’s car.

The scene then switches to Earl driving down the highway.

“Family is the most important thing,” Earl said in a voiceover, “Don’t do what I did. I put work in front of family.”

The trailer only gets better from there! The movie also stars Academy Award winner Dianne Weist and Academy Award nominees Bradley Cooper and Laurence Fishburne. Eastwood’s own daughter Alison will also be appearing in the movie as Earl’s daughter Iris.

This will be the first time that Eastwood has acted in a movie since the 2012 film Trouble with the Curve. He has not starred in a film that he directed himself since 2008’s Gran Torino.
