We’ve all had moments in life when the stresses start to get to us, and all we want to do is curl into a ball and fall asleep. There’s nothing quite like a quick catnap to recharge our batteries and get us ready to face the rest of the day.

The video below this story shows that humans are not the only ones who enjoy a nap in these situations: animals feel the exact same way!

A woman was sitting outside her home in Alabaster, Alabama when a doe started wandering towards her. The woman assumed that the deer would eventually get scared and run away, but instead, the doe kept walking towards her until her head was in her lap! Not stopping there, the deer appears to take a quick cat nap right on the lap of the woman!

Though this is clearly a friendly deer, the Wildlife Animal Control warns that humans should always be careful when they are around deer. These animals may look harmless, but deer actually typically weigh more than humans and are capable of causing serious injuries. Deers are also known to stampede when they are in herds, so it’s important to keep an eye out when in areas in which deer are prevalent.

The woman in the video below knew that she had to keep calm when the deer walked up to her. Moving slowly and with great care, the woman was able to grab her phone and record her impromptu cuddle session with the deer. Check out their snuggle in the video below!
