A hilarious joke about a chicken wire is going viral this week and it’s sure to bring a smile to your face!

An old man was sitting on his front porch in Mississippi watching the sunrise when he saw the neighbor’s son walking by carrying something in his arms.

“Hey boy, whatcha got there?” the elderly man asked.

“Roll of chicken wire,” the boy replied.

“What you gonna do with that?” the man asked.

“Gonna catch some chickens,” the boy said.

“You darn fool! You can’t catch chickens with chicken wire!” the man yelled, but the boy just laughed and kept walking.

That night, the boy came walking by once again, dragging his chicken wire with 30 chickens caught on it. The next morning, the old man was watching the sunrise once again and he saw the boy walk by with something in his hand.

“Hey boy, whatcha got there?” the man asked.

“Roll of duct tape,” the boy replied.

“What you gonna do with that?” the man asked.

“Gonna catch me some ducks,” the boy said.

“You darn fool! You can’t catch ducks with duct tape!” the elderly man said.

The boy just laughed and kept walking. That night, he walked by again holding a trail of unrolled duct tape with 35 ducks caught on it.

As the old man watched the sunrise the next morning, he saw the boy walk by carrying a long reed with something fuzzy on the end of it.

“Hey boy, whatcha got there?” the elderly man asked.

“It’s a pussy willow,” the boy replied.

The older man jumped up and yelled, “Wait up…I’ll get my hat!”
