It’s been twelve years since Steve Irwin passed away, but he is still beloved by millions of fans all over the world. That’s why so many people are happy that his family is about to make their return to television!

The new show “Crikey! It’s the Irwins” is set to premiere on Animal Planet next month. The show will be very similar to Steve’s “Crocodile Hunter” series, and it will revolve around his family’s life and conservation efforts at the Australia Zoo. The show will star Steve’s wife Terri and his daughter and son, Bindi and Robert.

Steve’s 20 year-old daughter Bindi is no stranger to television, as she started very young hosting her own show, “Bindi, The Jungle Girl.” In her teenage years, she went on to win “Dancing With The Stars.” Her brother Robert also hosted his own show on Discovery Kids and made appearances on various other television programs, including “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.”

Steve was known internationally for his work with animals before he tragically passed away at the age of 44 in 2006 after a stingray barb pierced him in the heart. His family made it clear that he will play a huge role in their show.

“We’re all about carrying on in our dad’s footsteps,” Bindi said.

“We work together. We live together. I love our animals, and I love living here,” Terri added. “We’re excited to share our work at Australia Zoo and our conservation adventures with the Animal Planet audiences all around the world.”
