The World Wildlife Foundation reports that their are only 1,864 giant pandas left in the wild. Consequently, experts are working hard to help breed the bears before they go extinct.

This is especially difficult because pandas have difficulty giving birth in captivity making it even harder for experts to try to save the beautiful endangered species.

So when Hao Hao, a panda at the Paira Daiza Zoo in Belgium gave birth to her miracle baby, the single birth marked a rare, and incredibly beautiful event.

The zoo attempted for two years to host Hao Hao and her mate Xing Hui, and finally successfully impregnated Hao Hao through artificial insemination with the help of experts from China.

At first, the proud mama bear kept her baby nestled in her arms, but when she finally revealed to her caretakers what she had, it was an adorable and hairless cub that weighed about six ounces.

Incredible footage of Hao Hao cradling and cleaning her baby has taken the internet by storm, but no one was more emotional than the staff that worked to make the miracle happen. Tears were even shed during the miraculous event.

Check out the video below to learn more about Hao Hao and her baby, and be sure to share this miracle of nature with your family and friends.
