All pet owners know the amazingly positive impact animals can have on the lives of humans. Their unconditional love can bring us back up when we are feeling down, and make us laugh when we least expect it.

Though we love our pets, it is necessary to scold them sometimes when they misbehave. When they do things like chew our shoes or run garbage all over the house, we have to let them know that this kind of behavior is not okay.

A dog named Ettore learned this the hard way when his owner Anthony scolded him for an unknown crime that he committed. The video below opens with Anthony sternly disciplining his beloved dog. Anthony stares deeply into Ettore’s eyes, trying his best to keep a straight face so that his dog will know how serious he is.

Unfortunately for Anthony, Ettore sees right through him and starts trying to charm his owner into forgetting about his crime.

Ettore proceeds to place his paw on Anthony’s chest, cock his head to the side, and give his owner his best puppy dog eyes in an attempt to get forgiveness. Despite his attempts, Anthony keeps a stern look on his face.

When Ettore realizes that his puppy dog eyes and cuddling are not working, he steps up his game and does something that makes it impossible for Anthony to stay mad at him. Finally, Anthony can’t help but give in and forgive his clever dog!
