Olivia Newton-John has canceled several speaking engagements recently in light of the news that she is yet again battling cancer. This is the third time the star has fought the deadly disease.

Olivia was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992 and then again in 2013. The second time it had spread to her shoulder. In late 2017, she revealed in an interview that she had been diagnosed with a tumor at the base of her spine, but has just recently gone public with the cancer diagnosis.

The Grease actress said that she is treating the cancer with modern medicine but is also using cannabis oil to help with the pain. “I’m very lucky I live in a state where it is legal. My dream is that in Australia soon it will be available to all the cancer patients and people going through cancer or any kind of disease that causes pain,” she said.

Olivia has been a fierce advocate for breast cancer awareness and there is even a cancer center in Melbourne, Australia, named after her. The 69-year-old actress is not letting the diagnosis get her down.

She says with the steadfast support of her partner John Easterling, she can get through anything. “My husband’s always there and he’s always there to support me. I believe I will win over it and that’s my goal,” she said.

Check out the interview below and be sure to share it with your family and friends and wish Olivia well.
