Stuart McDaniel owns a marketing firm in downtown Tulsa. In 2015, he decided his firm, GuRuStu, needed an office cat. So he headed over to the Tulsa Animal Welfare Shelter and chose a six-month-old cat named Sir Whine-a-lot. The cat quickly made himself at home.

Then in 2017, something odd started happening. When McDaniel would come into work in the morning, there would be piles of one dollar bills on the floor next to the office’s glass front door.

McDaniel had no idea what was going on, and then he noticed that Sir Whine-a-lot was standing by the door playing with the dollar bills. He quickly realized that his cat must have something to do with the money.

The office is located in a busy neighborhood filled with bars and restaurants and sees a lot of foot traffic. McDaniel thought that one of the passersby must have saw the cat and slipped a dollar bill through the crack and Sir Whine-a-lot grabbed it.

He tested his theory by sticking a dollar bill through the door, and sure enough, Sir Whine-a-lot immediately snatched the money out of his hand. Word spread throughout Tulsa about the cash snatching cat and more and more people would stop by the office to play with him.

Soon, Sir Whine-a-lot was constantly surrounded by a pile of dollar bills and McDaniel nicknamed him Cashnipkitty. Even a local news channel came by to interview him about his cat.

With all the cash that Cashipkitty was bringing in, McDaniel decided to give the money raised to the Tulsa Day Center for the Homeless since Cashnipkitty was once homeless himself.

Cashnipkitty has now been snatching money for over a year and raised more than $4,500 for the homeless. How amazing is that? Be sure to check out the video below to learn more about Cashnipkitty and share this story with your family and friends.
