Mike Rowe recently took to social media to share a story about a shopping experience his father had that is both hilarious and relatable.

The “Dirty Jobs” host shared a screenshot of a text message his mother sent him in which she recounted a trip she made to the mall with her husband.

“Dad hates shopping but came to the mall this afternoon,” Rowe’s mother started. “We were separated, and when I finally found him in department store, he just said, ‘I’m a stranger in a strange land,’ like he was lost.”

Men all over the country can certainly relate to this feeling!

Rowe’s father had stumbled upon the bra section, which he found to be very confusing! She included photos of her husband staring at the bras as he tried to figure them out.

Rowe’s dad then tried to guess the bra sizes of other female shoppers.

“Funny man, your father. Childlike and innocent — sometimes,” his mom concluded.

Social media users could not get enough of Rowe’s father!

“What fun you must have had growing up with this pair! Your dad sure learned a thing or two while he was… ‘lost,’” one follower wrote, with another adding, “I’m so happy Dad had the good sense not to do what most men would’ve wanted to do. Men, bras do not make good ear muffs, nor is it cute when you try it.”

To this second post, Rowe responded, “My mother sent several photos. Not all of them appropriate for a Sunday.”
