When René Bishop took the stage to audition for “The Voice of Holland,” the audience did not quite no what to make of him. Bishop is a senior citizen, far older than most contestants for the show, so the audience underestimated him as soon as he set foot on the stage.

It didn’t take long for him to prove them wrong.

As soon as Bishop began belting out his rendition of “Unchained Melody,” the audience and the judges alike knew that there was a very special talent onstage!

The judges didn’t turn around for Bishop right away, as they were curious to see him sing more. This would throw some performers off, but not Bishop. His years of life experience gave him the confidence to stay calm and keep singing to the best of his ability. He couldn’t see the expressions on the judges’ faces, but if he could, he would have seen that they were all dazzled by his performance!

Bishop has a very unique tone and pitch that gives his voice an unusually soothing sound. The judges could not hide the fact that they were impressed, and it was clear to the audience that it was only a matter of time before they turned around.

Finally, the judges can’t hold back anymore, and they all hit their buzzers at the same time! The crowd goes wild, giving Bishop the ovation that he completely deserves! It’s clear that Bishop will do well on the show, and that he has an amazing career ahead of him!
