Meghan Markle has only been a member of the British royal family for four months, and though she is already beloved by people all over the world, insiders are saying that she is having a much harder time winning over the friends of her husband, Prince Harry.

One of the biggest rules that the British royal family has for themselves is that they must remain politically neutral. That’s why many of Harry’s friends have taken issue with the fact that Meghan is such an outspoken liberal.

“Her politics are an issue,” said Lady Colin Campbell, a close friend of Princess Diana’s. “She is ultra-liberal and that trendy-lefty stuff does not go down well with some of Harry’s friends.”

After spending years in Hollywood, Meghan has many opinions that would fall into the category of “trendy-lefty stuff.” One of these opinions is that hunting animals is wrong, which has caused a few problems given the fact that Harry and his friends love to hunt.

“He has introduced her to them all at parties and weddings and private dinners, but she is very anti- a lot of the things that their world functions upon, such as shooting,” said Campbell. “Everybody discovers after marrying into the royal family how solitary and arduous an existence it can be. Meghan has already begun to discover this.”

While joining the royal family may seem like it’s all fun and games, this just goes to show that it’s actually a lot of work also. If Meghan wants to survive in this family, she might want to try toning down some of her politics and start following more of the royal rules.
