Divorce can be incredibly difficult to handle not only for adults, but also for the children that are involved. A lot of times, divorces end up getting messy, and they do not end peacefully.

After one father married a younger woman, he decided he wanted to bring his new wife to the wedding of his daughter Jennifer. The problem with this was that the young wife decided that she wanted to send a message to the mother of the bride, but she quickly learned that this was a very bad idea.

Jennifer was determined that no family drama would ruin her wedding day. In the weeks leading up to her wedding, Jennifer’s mother had found the perfect dress for herself so that she would look like a gorgeous mother of the bride.

Days before the wedding, Jennifer learned that her father’s 25-year-old wife had bought the exact same dress as her mom. She asked her stepmom to return it and get another dress, but she refused.

“No way! I look amazing in this dress, and I’m wearing it,” she replied.

Jennifer broke the news to her mother, who took it surprisingly well.

“Don’t worry, darling. I’ll just find a new dress,” she said. “It’s your special day and this won’t get in the way.”

The two went shopping and found another gorgeous dress. After they bought it, Jennifer asked her mom, “When will you return the other dress? You don’t really have another reason to wear it anytime soon.”

“Of course I do!,” her mom replied. “I’m going to wear it for the rehearsal dinner the night before your wedding.”
