White expressed her gratitude and proceeded to give a speech that was both hilarious and emotional.

“Oh my goodness, goodness, goodness…This is… this is… this is very exciting,” she said, clearly overwhelmed. She then showed the world that she still has her famous sense of humor!

“The other day about ‘First Lady of Television.’ And I took it as a big compliment,” White said. “And then I heard her talking to her daughter a little later, she said, ‘First lady, yes, she’s that old, she was the first one, way, way back.’”

“Little did I dream then that I would be here. It’s incredible that I’m still in this business, that I’m still — and you are still putting up with me!” White continued.

The “Golden Girls” star ended her sweet by thanking everyone for all the support and love that they have given her.

“All I can say is, it’s such a blessed business to be in, and how lucky can I be, and how much I say, thank you to each and every one of you. Thank you so much,” she said.

Betty White is a Hollywood icon, and we’re so glad that she’s doing so well! Check out her full speech below!
