Sometimes women just need a weekend away with the girls, especially if that woman is a busy mother of three young children. But when one mom named Kate went out of town, she never expected her husband to surprise her when she got home.

While she was gone, her husband Miles began working on the extreme bedroom makeover he had been planning for weeks. He pulled the old carpet out, repainted the room, and added new hardwood flooring.

The kids enjoyed using the room as a dance studio for a while, and the youngest thought the acoustics in the room were a lot of fun. Finally, Miles brought in brand new furniture and put in place all the final touches.

When Kate returns home, she’s in for a big surprise. As she walks into her bedroom, tears well up in her eyes as she realizes how much work her husband had put into the big reveal.
