When you were young you likely played all sorts of games with your siblings, friends, and parents. You probably played games like tag and hide and seek. But as the video below proves, you don’t have to be a human to enjoy playing games.

In the video below, a baby chimpanzee is playing airplane with its mom. The video proves one more way that chimpanzees are very much like humans in their social behaviors.

The adult chimp is seen holding the baby monkey above its head to make it “fly” like an airplane. At one point, the adult even shakes the baby a bit to resemble turbulence as its flying.

And just when you think the video can’t get any cuter, the pair have a big cuddle session right at the end of the video. The scene was captured by the Tai Chimpanzee Project (TCP), who have been following a group of chimps for the past 30 years.

The project is following three neighboring chimpanzee communities totaling some 100 chimpanzees. They don’t know if the chimps are related or a childminder, but there is still something very amazing and pure about watching them.

Chimpanzees have already disappeared from four African countries and are nearing extinction in many other countries thanks to deforestation and commercial hunting.

Check out the video below and be sure to share this amazing video of nature with your family and friends.
