Since the 1994 release of The Lion King, there have been many renditions of the song “The Lion Sleeps Tonight.” However, none of these renditions have been as funny as Straight No Chaser’s hilarious version!

The a cappella singers were on tour together in New Mexico when they came together to perform the song in an unforgettable way. As soon as the music starts, one of the singers explains that they created their very own choreography for this performance, and the audience had no idea how funny it would be!

The group’s official website explains why they are different than other a cappella singers.

“Straight No Chaser (SNC) are neither strait-laced nor straight-faced, but neither are they vaudeville-style kitsch,” the website states. “As original member Randy Stine comments, ‘We take the music very seriously; we just don’t take ourselves too seriously.'”

Straight No Chaser was formed when the group members were attending school at Indiana University, and they have not slowed down since then. They have become so successful that they now tour the country showing off their amazing vocal abilities, and fans can’t get enough of them!

As soon as the men start to sing, the audience is completely enamored by them. The crowd also burst into laughter as soon as they saw how hilarious their moves really are!

This video serves as a reminder of just how unique and talented a cappella singers are! Check out the hilarious video below, and SHARE this story so your friends and family can see this as well!
