A thought provoking joke is going viral this week that is sure to bring a smile to your face!

A little boy approaches his father and asks, “What is politics?”

The father replies, “Well son, let me try to explain it this way: I’m the breadwinner of the family, so let’s call me capitalism. Your Mom, she’s the administrator of the money, so we’ll call her the Government. We’re here to take care of your needs, so we’ll call you the people. The nanny, we’ll consider her the Working Class. And your baby brother, we’ll call him the Future. Now, think about that and see if that makes sense.”

The young boy goes to bed thinking about what his father had said. He is awoken later in the night by his baby brother crying, so he goes to check on him. He finds that the infant has soiled his diaper, so he goes to wake his parents. When the boy gets there, he finds his mother asleep alone, so he goes to his nanny’s room, only to find the door locked.

The boy looks through the keyhole, only to see his father in bed with the nanny! Shrugging his shoulders, the child gives up and goes to bed.

The next morning, the boy tells his father, “Dad, I think I understand the concept of politics now.”

“Good son, tell me in your own words what you think politics is all about,” the father says.

The boy responds, “Well, while Capitalism is screwing the Working Class, the Government is sound asleep, the People are being ignored and the Future is in deep shit.”
