A new video is going viral this week that shows just how powerful therapy dogs can really be.

Amber Oliver is a professional dog trainer from Massachusetts, and she has her very own support dog named Oakley. She has trained Oakley, who is five years-old, to see that an impending panic attack is coming by recognizing changes in her body temperature, breathing and her heart rate.

Amber was at the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky International airport recently when she started to panic. As soon as he noticed that Amber was becoming distressed, he leaped to action and started to comfort her. An onlooker was so impressed that he whipped out his phone so that he could record what was going down before his eyes.

“Oakley helps me every single day,” Amber said. “Oakley is always watching and paying attention to me, making sure to help me whenever needed.”

Dogs who are trained as service animals are doing truly incredible things in the world. They can be used to guide the blind, help veterans with PTSD, and as the video below shows, help calm people who suffer from panic attacks. No wonder dogs have always been known as man’s best friend!

Oakley isn’t the only service dog changing people’s live. Cora is a corgi who was recently at an airport when she noticed a man sobbing. Though he was a stranger, Cora decided to help him and went to sit at his feet to comfort him!

How cute is that?!
