When Robert and his wife Falon bought a onesie three months ago for their unborn daughter that said “Little Nugget” they had no idea just how appropriate that shirt would be. Chick-Fil-A  had always been a favorite of the family, but they never dreamed that’s where their daughter would be born.

Falon began having intense contractions so the couple headed to the hospital. They met a family friend in the parking lot of a nearby Chick-Fil-A so the friend could take their two older daughters. Falon needed to use the restroom and couldn’t wait.

Although the restaurant was closed, the staff let her in and that’s when she went into labor. “I open the door and she’s just screaming,” said Brenda Enriquez, the store director for the Chick-Fil-A store. Enriquez grabbed towels and yelled for Robert.

Robert says he looked at his wife and told her they were doing it “right here, right now.” As the baby began making her way into the world, Robert saw what appeared to be a white collar around his daughter’s neck.

It was the umbilical cord and it had been wrapped around her neck twice. He managed to get it off and save his daughter’s life. His daughter was delivered at 10:30 p.m. by her daddy.

Ten minutes later emergency crews arrived and took the family to the hospital. The perk for giving birth at Chick-Fil-A? Gracelyn, the new addition to the family, will receive free food for life and has been guaranteed a job when she reaches the age of 14.

Check out the video below of the unbelievable story of little Gracelyn’s birth and be sure to share it with your family and friends.
