When you think of Elvis Presley, the King of Rock and Roll, what comes to mind? Elvis was photographed in thousands of settings, but the video below shows a side of Elvis that very few of us could have ever imagined.

In the video, Elvis is singing the song “Always on My Mind.” It is recorded in a setting that the King of Rock didn’t know the cameras were rolling. He was totally wrapped up in nailing the recording for all of his fans.

Elvis heard the song that was originally recorded by Brenda Lee and Gwen McCrae, but he instantly fell in love with it and wanted to do his own version. The song quickly hit the Billboard charts and peaked at the 20th spot.

While everything that Elvis touched seemed to turn to gold, this song was performed with passion because it was recorded just weeks after his marriage with Priscilla had ended. You can hear the emotion in his voice as he sings the love song. You can tell she still has a place in his heart.

Check out the video below and see what you think. Did his emotions show through? Or is it just a performance? Be sure to share this story with your family and friends and see what they think too.
