Dogs are known for the incredible bonds they make with humans. Now, however, a new video is going viral showing the bond that one dog makes with a moose!

A family was recently out for a walk with their dog in northern Maine at around 5am when they spotted something surprising in the distance. Suddenly, a baby moose appeared out of nowhere, much to the surprise of Shannon, the dog’s owner. Shannon quickly bonded with the moose and named her Miss Maggie.

The moose was clearly very scared and was calling out for her mother, so Shannon called for the authorities. While they waited for help to arrive, Shannon’s dog Leo bonded with the moose. It didn’t take long for the two to hit it off!

“He walked right over and Miss Maggie and Leo became fast friends!” Shannon said.

The moose followed Shannon and Leo around all day and became very fond of the canine’s fond nature.

Finally, the veterinarian and rescue team arrived to help Miss Maggie and get her to safety. While she is being taken care of now, it’s safe to say that she definitely misses her canine friend! The interaction between Leo and Miss Maggie has since gone viral, with people all over the world being touched by it!
