The Black Knights youth football team was on their way home from a tournament in California when they were faced with a situation that required all their teamwork. They had won their games last weekend, but would they be able to triumph over this unexpected challenge?

Returning to Boise, Idaho, the team saw an SUV flip off the road in front of them. The SUV came to a stop on its top and the coach immediately pulled over to assist. The team members, all 13-years-old or younger, rushed to help.

An elderly couple was trapped inside the SUV and the young men rushed to get the man out of the vehicle. Then they focused their attention on helping his wife. She was trapped inside the cramped car by her seatbelt.

One of the teens used a knife to cut her free of the seatbelt, but she was still trapped under the SUV. The team combined their strength and pushed the SUV off the ground so one of the coaches could gently pull the woman from the wreckage.

The husband and wife, Allen and Maggie Hartman, couldn’t be more grateful for that team and say the boys are their knights in shining armor. They are recovering from a few broken ribs, cuts, and bruises, but are otherwise going to be fine.

Way to go boys! Check out the video of the amazing footage as the boys rescue Maggie from underneath the car. Be sure to share this heroic story with your friends. These boys are proof that there is still good in the world.
