It’s been almost 40 years since Hollywood starlet Natalie Wood disappeared from a yacht while traveling to Santa Catalina Island with her husband, actor Robert Wagner, and her co-star and friend, Christopher Walken. They were the last two people to see her alive and were both suspects when her body washed up on shore a few days later.

Wood had been in a fight with her husband the same night she disappeared, leaving many people to believe her death wasn’t an accident. No arrests were ever made and in 2011 the coroner’s report was changed to say that Wood died from drowning and other undetermined factors. The case was reopened and Wagner was once again a person of interest.

Although Wood’s children had lived a relatively sheltered, quiet life with their father after their mother’s death. Wood left behind two daughters, Natasha and Courtney. She also had a stepdaughter, Katie. Natasha was just 11-years-old and Courtney just 7-years-old when their mother died.

But when the case was reopened and their father became a suspect once again, the children were thrust into the spotlight. Courtney has said that she thinks her father taking his daughters to Switzerland for a while and out of the eye of the paparazzi was a good idea. It brought them closer together and she respects him for keeping their family together.

Courtney tried to break into Hollywood, but never had much success. Natasha, however, inherited her mother’s knack for acting and has been steadily working since the early 1990’s. Her debut role was in the film “Fathers & Sons” and she starred in the movie “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.” Her most recent roles were in the film “Thirty Nine” and the television show “Date My Dad.”

As she’s gotten older, fans of her and her mother have noticed that her talent isn’t the only thing that Natasha inherited from her mother. The now 47-year-old and her mother are strikingly similar in appearance.

She is now married and the mother of one daughter, Clover. Her husband, Barry Watson, likes to share stories about her mother to their daughter and describes her as enigmatic, gorgeous, and full of charisma and power.

Natasha says her mother was also one of the funniest people she’s ever known. Another memory Natasha has of her mother is the way she smelled. She says she could always tell when she was home because she could smell her perfume.

In 2016, Natasha released a perfume called Natalie, that was inspired by her mother’s signature scent. She says it has a floral note with accents of freesia, gardenia, neroli, jasmine, and musk.

What do you think of the resemblance between Natalie and Natasha? Share this story with your friends and see if they think she inherited more than just her mother’s talent.
