Meghan Markle has only been an official member of the British royal family for just over a month, but she is already making her mark in a huge way!

Meghan just attended a horse race at Ascot with her husband, Prince Harry. Though many royals were in attendance, it was Meghan who stole the show with her elegant look.

Meghan arrived at the event wearing a bespoke white dress designed by Givenchy, who also designed her wedding dress. She paired this outfit with a black and white hat designed by Philip Treacy.

The hat was reminiscent of one that Audrey Hepburn wore to Ascot in the movie “My Fair Lady.” Clearly, Meghan fully intends to channel her Hollywood roots in her fashion choices as a royal!

Harry also looked very dapper in a top hat and coat tails. He looked positively thrilled to have his wife by his side at this traditional event.

At one point, onlookers saw Prince Charles laughing uproariously at something his new daughter-in-law was saying. It’s very rare for Charles to show this kind of emotion in public, but a royal insider said that he absolutely “adores” Meghan.

“They have struck up a great rapport and he already has a real soft spot for her,” the source said.

It seems that Meghan is having no trouble at all adjusting to life as a royal! We’re so glad to see that she appears to be enjoying all of her royal duties!
