Growing up is difficult for everyone, especially when you are being tormented by bullies. Sadly, a 15-year-old boy named Victor knows all too well what this is like, as he has been constantly targeted by bullies throughout his life.

After one particularly bad encounter with bullies, Victor decided that he had enough.

Victor is visually impaired, so he needs special glasses to be able to see. Unfortunately, bullies love to make fun of Victor for these glasses. One day, a bully decided to pour hot glue on Victors arm. His teacher called the police, as she was worried that this might be the last straw for Victor.

She was right.

When Denver Police Officers Monique Sedbury and Alicia Martinez arrived at the scene, Victor told them that he wanted to kill himself. The two officers immediately realized they needed to rush him to the hospital for psychiatric treatment. As they took Victor to the hospital, Monique and Alicia promised that they would never abandon him.

This was one of the toughest calls Monique and Alicia had ever made in their careers, as Victor’s story really touched their hearts. They went above and beyond to make sure Victor had good friends around him, and they became his main support system. Any time Victor needed to talk, Monique and Alicia would take his calls.

Thanks to their help, Victor has switched schools and made good friends at his new one! He has even enrolled in a karate class, where he has made even more friends to support him. God bless these two officers for doing whatever it takes to save this teenager’s life!
