In 2009, a contestant by the name of Susan Boyle took the stage by storm on Britain’s Got Talent when she set foot on stage for the very first time. As usual, the judges took their first glimpse of Boyle and couldn’t imagine that what they were about to hear would be worthwhile.

They sized her up and asked a few brief questions to get familiar with the performer standing in front of them. When the music begins and Boyle’s voice is heard, however, the judges and everyone in the audience was left dumbfounded.

Boyle had an amazingly beautiful voice and the crowd burst into cheers. Nine years later, people still adore her. Boyle is now a household name and fans across the globe still praise her for her beautiful vocals.

Since her first appearance on television, Boyle has earned three number one albums and gotten two Grammy Award nominations in the U.S. Her last record “A Wonderful World” was a huge success.

After the release of her last album, however, Boyle has seemingly disappeared. Very little has been heard from the superstar until recently when Simon Cowell made a huge announcement about the talented artist.

Cowell announced that Boyle will have a new album out this Christmas. “We’ve got an idea to do something slightly different with her. I think she’ll enjoy it,” he said. “She’ll be making records with us for a long time. She’s amazing.” Quite a feat to have Cowell say you’re amazing!

Christmas is my favorite time of year anyway, but now I have something amazing to look forward to this year. Couple Boyle’s talent with my favorite Christmas songs and it just might be a match made in heaven.

Cowell is known for making some people a booming success. Check out the video below and see if this lovely lady just might be his next rising star!
