Graduation is something that people work hard to earn, especially if it is from college. In college, if a student falls behind in class, the teachers don’t call your parents and tell them what’s going on. The student has to figure it out for themselves or you just won’t graduate.

One young man, named Hanss Mujica, had a hard time when it came to school. He only scraped by in high school so he could participate in sports. When it came to college, he messed things up pretty good and was suspended at one point for having a GPA of only 1.47.

When that happened, he said it was the sadness on his parents’ faces that made him decide he would never do anything to disappoint them ever again. Hanss began school with a new attitude, but because he had been suspended from school, he had to pay out of pocket for his education. By 2015, it was unaffordable, so he had to quit again.

In 2016, he decided to quit his bank job and give school a try yet again. He took a different job that would work around his school schedule so that he could make money and still have money to go to school. He took one or two classes each semester all the way to the spring of 2018.

His parents never thought he would graduate, so planning the surprise took a long time to arrange. His parents thought they were posing for a family photo as part of a school project for their daughter. During the “photo shoot” Hanss sister gave his parents an envelope.

While they were reading the letter inside Hanss snuck up behind them with a big sign. Inside the envelope were two tickets for his graduation. The letter is him expressing his appreciation towards them for everything that they have done for them.

Watch the heartwarming video below to see their reaction to Hanss’ surprise and share it with your friends.
