Young girls all over the globe look up to pop icon Pink, and one of these young fans is 12 year-old Victoria Anthony. Determined to meet her idol, Victoria started an online campaign to be given the chance to sing for Pink. When Victoria heard that Pink was coming to perform in her home city of Vancouver, she knew this was her chance to make her dream a reality. Using the hashtag #VicandPink, Victoria began to drum up support by posting videos of herself singing to Pink asking for the chance to perform for her.

As Victoria’s efforts started to go viral, Canadian singer Sarah McLachlan even stepped in to help her campaign! Finally, the day of the concert arrived, and sure enough, Pink asked Victoria to come onstage!

“Are you who I read about on the news? Do you want to come sing something?” Pink asked her.
