Wednesday was a very special day for the United Kingdom’s Princess Charlotte, as it was the little girl’s third birthday!

Charlotte was born to Prince William and Kate Middleton on May 2, 2014! Since then, she has become a beloved princess to people all over the world! Kensington Palace announced her birthday with an adorable post on Twitter along with a photo showing Charlotte on her first day of nursery school this year.

This is a very exciting time for Charlotte, as she just became a big sister for the first time! Her little brother Prince Louis Arthur Charles was born on April 23, and Charlotte is said to have been very excited to meet him! Here she is walking into the hospital to meet Louis hours after he was born.

She had reportedly been preparing for his birth for months by practicing caring for her baby dolls, so we can only assume that Charlotte is spending her days being Kate’s little helper with the baby back at home!
