Ellen was in the middle of a sentence on her show when she was interrupted by a phone call. The call seems to have taken the host completely by surprised.

The voice on the other end of the phone was Ellen’s receptionist, who had a very important message. As the camera turned to the audience, a woman could be seen with her head in her hands as she realizes the call is about her! The woman tries to regain her composure as she looks at the lady sitting next to her.

The woman can’t help but cry as her mother can’t seem to figure out what is going on. The pair are then ushered out of their seats and brought onstage, and what happened next left many in the audience in tears. As the woman explains the situation she is in with her mother, it’s hard not to get emotional.

Kim and her mother Becky are both huge fans of Ellen, but the two are sadly battling cancer together. Kim had one huge plea for Ellen, and she was stunned that the host actually heard it!
