Country music legend Reba McEntire did an amazing job hosting the 2018 Academy of Country Music Awards. After a hilarious opening monologue, McEntire shocked everyone when she took the stage again later in the night not to host, but to perform!

Though the show was full of amazing performances, the best one was definitely Kelly Clarkson and McEntire’s duet of the latter’s 1993 hit “Does He Love You.”

It turns out that this is not the first time Clarkson and McEntire performed this song together! They first took the stage for a duet back in 2002, when they performed “Does He Love You” during an American Idol concert! You can check out this performance below this story.

McEntire has always said that she is a huge fan of Clarkson’s voice.

“Getting back on stage with her is going to be a blast because she sings her butt off and she’s cute as a button,” McEntire said before the ACM Awards. “When she opens her mouth to sing, it’s just like, ‘What is she gonna do next?’ She’s got this range, and I’m in awe every time she sings.”

Not only are Clarkson and McEntire good friends, they are also family!

McEntire is the former stepmother of Clarkson’s husband, Brandon Blackstock. The country music legend was married to Blackstock’s father Narvel Blackstock from 1989-2015.

It’s so good to see that these two amazing and talented women are such close friends as well! Check out their first performance together below, and SHARE this story so your friends and family can see this!
