Kate is set to give birth any day now, and we can only imagine how excited George and his sister Princess Charlotte are! Despite everything that is going on, little George is still going about his daily routine as a student at Thomas’s in Battersea.

It may come as a surprise to you that George isn’t the only royal in his class! The little prince is in the same class as his cousin Maud Windsor, the daughter of Lord Frederick Windsor, son of Prince Michael of Kent, who is Queen Elizabeth’s cousin! Maud’s mother is famous actress Sophie Winkleman, also known as Lady Frederick Windsor, who has appeared in television shows like “The Walking Dead” and “Two and a Half Men.”

The Wedding of Lord Frederick Windsor and Sophie Winkleman, 12th September 2009. Frederick and Sophie were married in the Chapel Royal, Hampton Court Palace. Frederick is the son of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent. The bride’s sister is TV presenter, Claudia Winkleman. Guests at the wedding included Bryan Adams and Princess Eugenie. Sophie’s dress cost £5,000 and was designed by Russian couture house, Roza. It was made of 80 feet of silk duchesse satin and and 36 feet of silk taffeta. The dress also included a 10 foot long detachable train. After the wedding, the reception was held in the Great Hall, where the bride and groom walked in the footsteps of Frederick’s ancestor, King Henry VIII. Frederick and Sophie have two children: Maud Windsor born 15th August 2013 and Isabella Windsor born 16th January 2016. #lordfrederickwindsor #sophiewinkleman #ladyfrederickwindsor #royalwedding #hamptoncourtpalace

Maud was born just one month before George, so it shouldn’t be too surprising that their parents have sent them to school together!

School officials have made it clear that despite their royal statuses, George and Maud are each treated just like any other student.

“Our aim for George, as well as for all of our pupils, is to provide a safe and secure and happy environment where he feels supported by a kind and loving community. That’s all we’ll be trying to achieve for him. There won’t be any special treatment at all,” a school representative stated.
