All mothers know that raising a child is extremely difficult, and it’s even harder for single mothers who are forced to do it alone.

When 25-year-old Hayley Arsenault learned she was pregnant with triplets, she immediately went into full panic mode as she felt like her whole world was crashing down around her. After she delivered her three boys Hogan, Rylan, and Finn, Hayley’s days became full of never ending feedings, diaper changes, baths and clean-up time.

Hayley was able to take some time off work when her boys were first born to take care of them, but when it came time for her to return to her job, she panicked! She took to Facebook to issue a desperate plea to the public, and it quickly went viral.

Jenny MacDougall, Alice Mokler, and Anita Arsenault (no relation to Hayley) are sisters and grandmothers who have tons of experience when it comes to raising babies.

“Knowing what it’s like to have one baby, it’s a lot of work. When I heard that she had three, I could really understand how exhausting it must be. It takes a village to raise a child and we’re willing to help out,” Jenny said.

When the sisters saw Hayley’s plea, they immediately wanted to do something to help. The situation could not be more perfect because there are three sisters and three boys, meaning each little baby gets his own grandma!

The sisters now bring food, help out with chores, and do anything else they can to assist Hayley with her kids. Their new grandmotherly duties has also brought the sisters even closer  to each other!

“For me, it’s a gift to come here. We chat, we compare the babies. Love every minute of it,” Jenny said.

Wendy and Billy Arsenault, the triplets’ biological grandparents, are also helping out. Billy said that they go through about 250 diapers a week, so the help from the extra grandmothers is very much appreciated!

“It’s tiresome as it is, but it would be very tiresome. Everybody’s been great,” he said.

In the end, Hayley has learned that the old adage of “it takes a village” to raise a baby is totally true.

“To have strangers come in and actually make a connection with your babies is pretty amazing. They become people that you know and trust and that’s the big thing,” Hayley said.

We want to applaud these amazing sisters for proving that fair godmothers can be real! SHARE this story so your friends and family can see it as well!
