Being in high school can be rough, and sometimes, even the most popular kids get picked on. So when Tori Adams made her cheerleading team, she was excited until one opportunity came up that had her nervous and worried.

Adams was part of the Northwestern High School Eagles cheerleading team when it came time for the basketball team to play in the CLAA Conference Tournament in Missouri. Unfortunately, all of the cheerleaders were ill except for Adams.

Her coach gave her the option of cheering or not, but Adams decided that her team needed her to be there cheering them on, even if it meant that she would be alone. She knew it wouldn’t be easy, but she was determined to support her team.

The big day came and Adams began belting out cheers. Suddenly, she was surrounded by cheerleaders from the rival team. The Hardin-Central cheerleaders approached her, but it wasn’t to make fun of her. They had a unique proposal for the lonely cheerleader.

With a little bit of discussion and friendly practice, the girls from both schools began cheering for both teams. You can see Adams in the video below in her blue uniform surrounded by the cheerleaders from the other school.

While Adams situation could have been awkward and uncomfortable, it turned into a night of true sportsmanship that she will never forget. If you think these girls’ actions are truly amazing, please share this story!
