These days, selfies are arguably the most popular way for people to take their photos. Though we’re all pretty used to taking selfies at this point, sometimes they don’t turn out quite the way we intended them to.

1. This dad wanted to take a selfie with his baby and his dog, but things didn’t quite go according to plan! It wasn’t until he looked at the photo that the dad realized his dog had chosen this moment to “relieve some stress” in the backyard! 
2. The dog in this photo was clearly not in the mood to be on camera! When two friends decided to take a selfie, the dog behind them pulled the old “oops, I turned around at the wrong time” move. 
3. The girl taking this selfie didn’t quite think this one through! As she sat on the toilet doing her business, she thought it was the perfect time to capture how pretty she looked. Unfortunately for her, she forgot that a mirror behind her gave everyone she sent the selfie to a full body shot of her squatting body! 
4. She was ecstatic when she caught the bouquet at her friend’s wedding, as it traditionally means she’ll be the next one to walk down the aisle. Her boyfriend clearly did not share her excitement, however… 
5. I have no idea why this young man thought it would be a good idea to take a selfie while standing at a urinal, but it should have come as no surprise to him that this photo did not turn out well! 
6. The generational contempt in this photo is almost palpable, as the elderly man cannot hide his annoyance for this self-absorbed millennial! 
7. The dog in this selfie has his eye on the prize, as he looks like he is about to steal this girl’s ice cream! 
8. The girl in this selfie may look amazing, but her room is a complete disaster. Honey, next time you want to take a selfie like this one, take a second to tidy up your room first!
