When Mike Cox and his wife arrived home from a quiet dinner one night, they had no idea that they were about to walk into a nightmare.

When Mike and his wife left their Colorado home, their house was completely empty and clean. That was a different story when they got back…

While the couple was at dinner, hundreds of teenagers invaded their home and threw a wild party, causing tens of thousands of dollars in damage in the process! The kids drank alcohol in the home and documented their party in videos that were posted to social media.

The Coxes could not believe their eyes when they got back.

“I think we were targeted because our house was for sale on the market, and somebody saw it online and thought it was going to be empty. But it wasn’t,” said Mike.

Mike was furious when he saw what the teens had done to his house.

“Just rage. Felt violated. This is our home. It’s not just an empty house that’s for sale. It’s where we live,” he said.

“You can see on the floor—they were squirting champagne from standing on our counter top and squirting it all over the house. It’s on the ceiling, on the floor, on our furniture. Everywhere,” Mike continued, explaining the damage.

In the end, Mike was left disgusted by what happened.

“They don’t value anything.  They don’t value people’s hard work, their property—any of it,” he said of the teenagers.
