Fans are in mourning this week after the death of beloved Disney star Soon-Tek Oh, who was best known for voicing Mulan’s father, Fa Zhou, in the Disney film, Mulan. He was 85 years-old, and he passed away after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Born on June 29, 1932, in what is now South Korea, Soon-Tek moved to the U.S. with his family when he was a teenager and graduated from University of California, Los Angeles with a masters in fine arts. He began his acting career on Broadway, making his debut as a member of the original cast of the musical Pacific Overtures.
He went on to receive over 116 film and television credits, including appearances in shows like MacGyver, M*A*S*H*, Charlie’s Angels, Hawaii Five-O, and Touched By An Angel.
