When you see the outside of this cottage in Malvern Hills, UK, it looks like an old abandoned building that has been unkempt for decades. After stepping inside, you’ll be shocked at what you see. Inside is something out of a magazine and is nothing short of spectacular.

The 500-year-old Wishbone Cottage has been featured in magazines such as Ideal Home and Country Living. The tiny looking cottage is covered with beautiful greenery on the outside but the treasures that await guests inside are even more beautiful than the rolling hills outside.

Inside the tiny cottage, the whitewashed walls set the backdrop for neutral, yet beautiful furnishings. It has an open floor plan that displays vintage and rustic touches and a small, but stylish kitchen. The kitchen boasts all the regular amenities including a range, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and microwave.

If you walk across the brick floors past the kitchen and dining area, you will see the cozy bedroom with a stylish en-suite bathroom. The bedroom features luxe bedding on a king-sized bed and is closed off from the rest of the house with a heavy velvet curtain. The attached bathroom is polished and modern, but still in tune with the rustic nature of the rest of the cottage.

Guests of the cottage can get a glimpse back in time when staying at the rustic cottage, but still have all the amenities and comforts of a five-star hotel. The cottage even features a hay loft that has been converted to a cozy den that includes a bed, seating area, and a wooden door that swings open to reveal an amazing view.

If you prefer to sit outside and take in the rolling hills, an attached cobblestone patio is just the place for you. The patio features a dining table and chairs, lanterns for lighting, a fire pit, and terracotta pots filled with wonderful smelling herbs.

With breathtaking views inside and out, and all the comforts of home, this cottage has been called one of the best places to stay in the rental market. We can understand why!
