When Andrew Wilcox decided to take a break from roofing one afternoon to bust a move, he had no idea he was being recorded. Dancing to the song “Bailando” by Enrique Iglesias, Wilcox entertained a neighbor who just happened to be in the right place at the right time.

Wilcox says he and his partner had been roofing a shed next to a house when the song came on the radio. He had been hunched over roofing all day and decided the song would be a good time to take a break. You can see him take off his tool belt in the video and dance to the beat of the song.

In the video, Wilcox can be seen shaking his bootie to the beat, stepping in rhythm, and even jumping from roof to roof. When he learned that his moves had been caught in video, he shared the video on YouTube where it has had over one million viewers laughing.

One of the comments on the video is from another roofer who says he and his crew sometimes take dance breaks while roofing too. Who knew!?

Wilcox performs a variety of moves during his impromptu routine, some of which make you fear if he’ll dance right off the roof. Luckily, he seems pretty sure footed on the roof and never makes it off the edge. It’s pretty impressive that he can do those moves on slanted ground because some people couldn’t do them on level ground.

You’ve got to see his rooftop dance routine yourself. He might just have you dancing right along with him. His roofing partner eventually couldn’t resist and joined in the fun.
