Rescue dog Baron Kratu von Bearbum (Kratu for short) has become a viral sensation due to a hilarious piece of footage of him trying to get through an agility course. Kratu may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but what he lacks for in smarts he makes up for in determination and personality!

The video shows Kratu jumping over hurdles, running through a tunnel, and quickly avoiding a weave before he stops to sniff at spectators. He may not have won an official prize, but if the audience could have voted on their favorite, he definitely would have won that!

Sadly, Kratu’s backstory is not nearly as happy as we would have hoped. Kratu spent his early years in an abusive home, where he remained until he was finally rescued four years ago. That’s when he was adopted by Tessa Eagle Swan, who made it her goal to make sure Kratu got all the love that he deserved!

Kratu has thrived since he was put in Tessa’s care, and now he spends his days being a service dog and serving as an ambassador for rescue pups at local dog shows. He loves showing off his skills so much that he gets a little too excited while he goes through courses like the one in this video!
