Bacon is known for being one of the most delicious foods around, but it can be tough to cook bacon to the perfect level of crisp.

Now, renowned chef Adam Sappington has come forward to give Americans a hack that will allow them to cook bacon to perfection every time.

Adam, who is the co-owner of The Country Cat restaurant along with his wife Jackie, said that flavorings are what makes the biggest difference for him when cooking bacon.

He explained that he tends to stay away from corn syrup and liquid smoke because they affect the flavor and quality of the product.

Adam said that bacon tastes best when it has been cured with salt, sugar, and spice for five days.

The first step to cooking bacon is preheating your oven to 350 degrees.

Once you have done that, grab a baking dish with edges on all sides and line the flat surface with parchment paper to keep the bacon from sticking to the dish.

Lay each strip down longways and place the dish in the oven.

Chef Jessie Kissinger said that “for bacon that is set and partially crisp, but not too crisp, [it should be cooked for] approximately 7 minutes.”

I like my bacon extra crunchy, but you can make yours however crunchy you want!

Once you have taken the bacon out of the oven, you’re guaranteed to have perfectly crispy delicious tasting bacon!
