A new story is going viral this week, and it shows just how miraculous life can be sometimes.

Mohamed Elsaid was recently enjoying a beautiful day on his balcony overlooking a beach in Egypt when he noticed something odd happening in the water. He first saw a young pregnant woman walking out into the Red Sea for what he assumed was a swim, but when he caught sight of her again minutes later, it was clear that she was in distress.

Mohamed then saw an elderly man and a younger man running towards the woman, with one of them holding a yellow bucket. Mohamed was puzzled, as he could not figure out what the group was doing. He never saw what happened next coming in a million years…

When the elderly man pulled a newborn baby out of the water, Mohamed was stunned to realize that the woman had given birth right in the Red Sea!

It turns out the woman was a Russian tourist who specifically came to the resort town so that she could give birth in the water. The bucket was for the placenta and after birth, which the younger man (the mother’s partner) carried out of the water.

Mohamed’s niece posted the photos to Facebook, and they quickly went viral for obvious reasons: nobody had ever seen anything like this before!
