Traditional healing techniques such as acupuncture and acupressure have been used to treat numerous physical ailments for centuries. Now, reflexology has become another popular method of treatment for people who would like to avoid being prescribed painkillers.

Reflexology is a practice in which physical pains all over the body are treated by applying pressure to certain other points on the body in order to stimulate them. For example, the chart below reveals that pain in any part of the body can be treated by pressing on certain areas of the palm of a person’s hand.

All you have to do is find your area of pain on the chart above and press on the part of your palm that corresponds to this body part for six seconds. Once you have done this, take a three second break and then apply pressure again for several minutes.

The video below shows Dr. Oz interview renowned reflexologist Deborah Flanagan on his television program in order to show how easy and simple reflexology is. Choosing patients at random, Flanagan uses reflexology to treat their back pain, fatigue, insomnia, constipation, sinus blockage, and diminished libido.

By the end of the interview, Dr. Oz declares reflexology to be a powerful natural treatment method that everyone should learn about so that they can use it on themselves. SHARE this story so your friends can be exposed to the powers of reflexology!
