Steve Harvey hosts the popular TV show, Little Big Shots which gives young, pint-sized talents the ability to share their craft and artistry with a wider audience. These gifted kids can do it all from singing to performing acrobatics to doing a stand up comedy routine all while looking adorable.

On Sunday’s night show, we are introduced to Angelica Hale who is from Atlanta Georgia and is just 10 years old. Angelica is no stranger to TV audiences as she won runner-up of NBC’s reality talent show, America’s Got Talent. What’s special about Angelica is her personal story and one she likes to share to inspire others that may be going through similar life challenges that she had to endure.

Angelica, at 4 years old, had double pneumonia due to a bacterial infection. She was on life support for two weeks due to her kidney failing and in ICU for weeks after – totaling 80 days in the hospital at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.  Since both her kidneys were compromised, she underwent dialysis for the next year and a half until she could find a donor match for a kidney transplant.

Miraculously, Angelica’s mother was a match! The transplant was successful and Angelica presently is healthy and upbeat with smiles so wide, it’s hard not to smile with her as she exudes so much enthusiasm!

Currently, Angelica travels with her parents across the country using her beautiful voice to raise awareness and funds for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. This amazing girl is full of gratitude as she understands the blessings she’s had even after experiencing the frightening health ordeal at such an early age. She’s gifted with another chance at life and a beautiful singing voice to uplift others.

Watch this video below of Angelica singing, “I’ll Be There.”
