A heartwarming video is going viral that captures the amazing bond horses share with each other.

William, Arthur, and Harry are three horses who grew up as best friends on a farm in the United Kingdom’s countryside. Sadly, they were separated in 2008 when their owner was forced to sell Arthur, and the thoroughbred sporting horse spent the next few years competing in competitions all over the country while his two friends stayed with their owner, Sue Blagburn.

Nearly five years later, however, Sue decided to buy Arthur back. As she brought him back to her farm in East Sussex, she wondered whether Arthur would recognize William and Harry after all this time. Though she initially feared their friendship wouldn’t be the same, Sue quickly realized she had nothing to worry about!

“I don’t know what will happen. Let’s see,” she said at the beginning of the video below, just before she turned Arthur loose in the field. It immediately becomes clear that the horses all recognize each other, as Harry runs right up to Arthur! William quickly joins in, and the resulting reunion has melted millions of hearts all over the globe!

It’s as if no time passed for these three friends!

“They’re just being horses, but horses that love each other and remember each other … William is quite bossy, and he wouldn’t let any other horse do what Arthur is doing,” Sue said, adding that the reunion is “so much more deep than I thought possible.”

Sue now helps out with a program called Adventures With Horses, and her trio of horses serve as “incredible guides” as clients practice leadership, communication, and other skills they can use in their daily lives.
