An adorable video is going viral this week showing the hilarious “conversation” between a baby girl and a goat.

Before watching this video, it’s important that you know a little bit about why goats make the noises that they make. Goat specialist Dr. Daniel Waldron of Texas A&M said that the animals make their “bleating” noise for a couple different reasons.

“Mother goats call for their young when they get separated, young kid goats also call for their mothers,” Waldron said. “Goats may also ‘yell’ when they expect to get fed. If I feed one pen of goats, the second pen may start ‘yelling’ because they want to be fed right now.”

Meanwhile, the baby girl in this video is so little that she is just learning how to make noises herself, so she’s pretty much right on the goat’s level!

When the little girl approaches the goat with her mother, he immediately starts bleating at her. It’s unclear whether the goat was yelling at his mother to save him from the humans, or to say hello to his new little friend! Either way, the baby girl got very excited, and she began “talking” right back to him!

The conversation between the baby girl and goat is enough to bring a smile to anyone’s face. SHARE this story so your friends and family can see it as well!
