Almost all grandparents dote on their grandbabies, and this loving grandma and grandpa are no different. What comes as a surprise is the first word their grandson tells them when they tried to get him to speak for the first time.

Most babies’ first word is usually mama or dada. This little cutie had something different up his sleeve though for his grandparents. In the video below, you can see the loving grandparents asking their little guy to say mama, then milk, then eventually grandpa has a great idea about what the baby’s first word will be.

These grandparents are obviously smitten with their little bundle of joy, and you can tell he thinks they’re pretty entertaining too by the smiles he dishes out. However, as they try to teach him to talk, he has little interest in what they are trying to teach him, that is until grandpa mentions one thing.

Grandpa has a sudden idea that the baby’s first word will be taco! What a unique word for a baby to say as their first word, but this is the first time the baby stops and looks like he’s interested in what his grandpa has to say. Then with a little effort, the baby blurts out a word that sounds exactly like he’s repeating his grandpa!

“Taco ” to this little one might not mean the same thing to you as it does to him. While we think of the tasty Mexican food, this little guy might have been thinking of the family cat, who’s name is Taco. What an honor to the feline to have been the first one to be announced by the little one. So much for mama and dada!
