A man from Brighton, United Kingdom was on his way to work one morning when he came across someone who he was never expecting to see on his morning commute: his own pet cat!

When Darren Sherlock woke up for work one morning, he noticed that he did not see his cat Louis. Any cat lover will know that sometimes cats like to do their own thing in the morning, so Darren did not think much of it. That’s why he was so stunned to bump into Louis on his way to work!

“What happened yesterday morning is normally his routine is he’ll annoy us until we wake up and feed him and then he’ll go out for the day,” Darren recounted. “When we woke up he wasn’t there and he was nowhere to be found so we both went to work thinking he’d come back soon. I was driving down the road and went past this place where I know he hangs out sometimes, and low and behold there he was.”

“He jumped in the car and then I didn’t know whether to push him out the car because I needed to go to work, but I didn’t want to do that, so I drove him home, gave him some breakfast and then went to work,” Darren said.

Louis has since become a viral sensation, with Darren’s tweet being shared over 89,000 times! People can’t seem to get enough of this cheeky cat!
