On Thursday morning, Queen Elizabeth and her new granddaughter-in-law stepped off the royal train having spent the night onboard, and the close bond the two women share was immediately very clear to all.

The two appeared to be very relaxed in each other’s company, and they both showed a great deal of warmth towards each other.

These two seem to get along wonderfully! ?

Meghan was joining the Queen for a visit to the northwest county of Cheshire, where they opened a new toll bridge over the River Mersey.

When they arrived, they completed their first royal duty of the day when they opened Mersey Gateway Bridge. Then, they travelled to mark the official opening of Storyhouse in Chester.

The Queen and Meghan also participated in a moment of silence in remembrance of the Grenfell Tower disaster in London, which occurred one year ago.

As they were seated for the performances of the day, the two enjoyed a laugh over something Meghan said. It was great to see how comfortable they were together!

The Queen’s final task of the day at Storyhouse was to unveil a special plaque to mark the official opening of the cultural centre.

Meghan and the Queen seem to have already hit it off very well! Find out more about their special day in the video below, and SHARE this story so your friends and family can see this as well!
